My love for photography is a gift from my father, who spent the 1970s capturing the world as a professional and industrial photographer. Today, my own lens looks at a slightly smaller, yet no less magnificent, world. ​Due to a disability, my travels are limited these days—but my view isn't. My home is a hidden forest paradise tucked away in the middle of the city. Whether it’s a hawk or an owl keeping watch from a branch across the creek, or deer playing and drinking on the hillside, most of my wildlife photography happens right from my kitchen window or driveway. ​Through this page, I invite you to slow down, look closer, and see the incredible wildness that lives right in our backyards.
